NEW CLIENT INQUIRY

Drop In Care 
I provide drop in care for cats and other small companion animals including fish, reptiles and rodents. I relate to your pets on their terms.  **As of 2-15-18: SMALL DOG (under 40 pounds) services will include potty breaks & overnights. (Limited areas)

If they are unsure of new folks, I go slow and don't try to interact beyond their comfort zone; I keep to your pet's routine as much as possible.  This includes feeding them where they like to be fed, giving treats as needed, medicating on time and instigating playtime.  


If your furkids are a little leery of me providing care for them, I give them time (and sweet talk!) to let them get to know me.  I respect each pet's comfort level and interact on their terms.  Pet sitting should alleviate the stress for your pets!  I give belly rubs, ear scratchin's and a cookie at bedtime; just like you do!


All NEW petsits are conducted with one (1) "Meet N Greet" session prior to your pet's visits, a written contract & key pickup. *I am pleased to keep a copy of your key if you travel frequently or on a moment's notice at no charge*

MEET N GREET SESSION (New Clients)
All Meet N Greet sessions are 20-30 minutes long.  First visit's fees due at the Meet N Greet. MnG's are scheduled no further than 30 days in advance and no LESS than 14 days prior to your travel plans.  
NEW CLIENTS will need to submit a request through the Time to Pet Software in order to schedule a Meet n Greet and book visits.  $20

**Additional MnGs are at our hourly rate.  (after moves, addition of new pet, new medication protocols,etc: for existing clients only) 

Scheduling a Meet N Greet is the FINAL STEP to contracting services from WYNTPC.  
Paperwork (or Portal Agreement) & key pickup fee is included at initial Meet N Greet.

All visit fees (for new & existing clients) are due at (or before) the first visit of each trip 
​MAJOR HOLIDAYS, PEAK PERIODS: $5 EXTRA PER DAY:
2 days prior to holiday, holiday and 2 days post    
(Spring Break, Easter, July 4, Labor, Memorial, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's)
Deposits are required for major holidays; due 30 days in advance.

Existing clients get priority for holiday reservations. 

                                                           CATS & Other Small Pets: 
  •  The Typical Take Care of Me - a 30 minute visit, featuring feed/water, litter boxes, and play/snuggle time as your pet dictates. Generally one daily visit is typical for most pets. Twice daily visits are for medication / specific diet requirements  
​            $22*(+ zone) per visit**
**Additional time charges for medication administration may apply (injections & some oral)
**Additional pet fees for more than 2 pets ($2 per pet)
**4 or more pets are longer visits, at 45 -60 minute visits $34-$44

All cats are visited a minimum of once daily (ie every 24 hours) 
Twice daily visits LIMITED to certain Zones (zip codes)

For the safety of all pets, we are unable to let cats outdoors.


2018 NEW SERVICES: Small Dogs: Starting 2-15-18, WYNTPC's IC's will provide mid day walks, potty breaks and overnight care. (Limited areas) 30 minute visit for potty, short walk or play time $24* (+zone) per visit*. Additional small dog(s) $18 each

OVERNIGHT CARE
(12-14 hours of company & care) Limited to small dogs, cats & small exotics
$70-$100. Limited areas only.

Each Visit To Your Home Includes:
  • Bring papers, mail and small packages indoors
  • Water indoor plants, yard watering**
  • Care for "aquarium pets" (including fish, reptiles, small exotics, etc)**
  • Clean the litter box / scoop pet waste at EACH visit
  • Wash the (pet-related) dishes
  • Alternate your lights so that your home doesn't "look vacant" while you are away 
  • I also provide you with photos and daily updates via email or text message 
  • Daily and post-trip electronic Visit Report Cards

The Nitty Gritty Details 

Client Portal 

All clients are required to fill out information in their Client Portal in Time to Pet, prior to your pet's first visit and the Meet n Greet.  
The portal has emergency contact information, feeding and medication directions, a Medical Treatment authorization for emergency care, and a Key/Entry policy. By electronically signing the authorization to use the Client and Pet Portals; you are agreeing to our policies of service. *There is an updated Veterinary & Emergency Veterinary Hospital Release form*

FREQUENTLY DISCUSSED TOPICS: 
Short Notice / Same Day Visits
Last minute bookings (less than 14 days) may not fit into scheduling and I may have to refer you to another agency. If I am able to accommodate a less than 14 day notice booking, your visit rate may be at a slightly higher ("short notice") rate. Visits before 8:00 am & after 6:30 pm are charged an additional fee. 

Holidays – The holidays are obviously the busiest times of the year. Booking in advance is required. Existing clients who give 30+ days notice will get priority. Deposits are taken within 30 days of holidays to guarantee booking. The rate for all major holidays & Peak Periods (Spring Break, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day) will be $5 more on the two days prior to, the holiday itself, and two days post; per family.  Holiday deposits & trip fees are due at 30 days prior to holidays via credit card or personal check. Last minute holiday add-ons will need to pay via cash or check.

Cancellations – Last minute cancellations can play havoc with the schedule. If you decide to cancel or change your trip, please let me know as soon as possible. Cancellations with less than 14 days notice during the holidays can result in ½ your trip fees forfeited. Any other time of the year (non-holiday) 72 hours notice is needed. (1/2 fees forfeited)  There are no refunds for pet care services. In the event of an early return from a trip, no refunds are given as I have reserved that time for your pet care.  Credits may be issued depending on circumstances. Cancelled Meet n Greets will forfeit their deposit. 

Adding Days – If you need to extend your vacation and I am needed for last minute extra visits, if I am able to fit them into the schedule; there may be an additional charge per visit in addition to the regular visit rate. 

Time of Day - Visits are completed in order of geographic location and visit frequency. Twice daily medicated pets are given priority and all other pet visits are completed in between. Twice dailies are done between 8-10 am and 4-6 pm.  Once dailies are done between 10 am and 4 pm.  Visits done before 8 am and after 7 pm are at a higher rate and are not always available.  

Veterinary Care & Medications
All clients should provide the most up to date information regarding pet(s) vaccination status and health status (Rabies vaccine required for DOGS) and the name and telephone number of their current Veterinary Clinic.  If your pet is not up to date on vaccines; I may request a copy of their Vaccination Waiver from the last vet to examine your pet within the past year.  *There is a new updated Veterinary Release & ER Vet Form that will be given to you at the Meet n Greet. This form will be filled out and signed and dated by legal owner(s) of all pets. 

For the safety of both myself and your pets, I request that all medications be left in the original prescription bottle with pet's name and dosing information on it.   All vet transports are charged the hourly rate & mileage. I ask that you leave a signed, blank check (for emergency veterinary care only) in addition to the Medical Treatment Authorization form that is in the Contract for Services OR give your veterinary clinic your credit card to keep on file.

​NO JOB-SHARING:  
WYNTPC does not "job share" with members of your family, friends, or other pet sitting businesses or their representatives during the time period I visit. (ie: 12/1/17--12/25/17..no one else is to enter your home for any reason) Due to insurance and liability, I cannot be held responsible for your home and personal belongings, including pets, if anyone else enters your home while you are away. (this means someone having access and coming & going while I am providing care) It increases the likelihood that mistakes can happen, illness, injury, pet escape and/or death can occur. It also increases the likelihood of threat, theft, fire, flood and other accidental nightmares could happen to your home / property. 


PARKING: Clients that live in condominiums and apartment complexes with designated parking spots for visitors must indicate where legal parking is located in your residence parking lot.  Provision of a Visitor Parking Permit or parking passes to the closest garage will also be accepted.  

SERVICE HOURS: All visits are between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 pm.  Any pre-arranged visits outside of these hours are at additional rates.  

COPIES OF KEYS: All keys provided to me should be tested prior to your departure.  Please provide 2 methods of entry to your sitter.  IE: 2 keys or 1 key and one garage code.  Key pick up and return fees apply if you do not provide a spare that I can keep on file or a "lock box" on your home. Pick up / drop off of keys will cost $15 per trip: this covers the 1st return of the key; unless your family decides that your key be kept on file (in a lockbox in my home), then this "Key Return Fee" becomes a credit to your account. You are welcome to keep a lockbox at your residence with our access as needed.
